SMSC: We were awarded Gold in Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development is the over-arching umbrella that encompasses personal development both in and out of the curriculum. OFSTED put SMSC 'at the heart' of school development. It focuses a school on thinking about the kind of people we aspire to be, the kind of world we aspire to create and the kind of education we aspire to provide. | |
| In September 2024, Philip Southcote was awarded Learning Outside The Classroom (LOtC) Gold award. The LOtC Mark is the only national accreditation that supports and celebrates educational settings who provide meaningful experiences beyond the classroom across the whole curriculum, indoors and out, on and off-site. |

| The Healthy Schools Awards: approach applies evidenced based practice promoting positive physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing, and identifies 5 key themes: Whole School Approach towards the Promotion of Positive Health and Wellbeing, PSHE, Healthy Eating, Physical Activity and Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health. We currently hold the Silver award, and are working towards Gold! |

| This award has been granted to us as a consequence of our demonstration of good practice in our Online Safety policy and procedures. Before being awarded, assessors met with a range of staff, pupils, parents and governors, carrying out a review of our policies, minutes and audit logs. |
